The post graduate teaching
in surgery is not complete without a structured teaching
programme on clinical skills and bedside examination
of patients. Therefore dear friends, in continuation
of our efforts to prepare and ingrain the clinical skills
and knowledge necessary for the practical exams in General
Surgery for the Final Year DNB and P G students, we
are organising the 12th "P G Surgical Forum"
classes at Hindu Rao Hospital, North Delhi. The last session
of classes were held from 20th to 22nd Feb, 2015.
Dr Vinod K Malik, professor and Vice Chairman, Department
of Surgery , Sir GangaRam Hospital, New Delhi is spearheading
this initiative to make it a fruitful and encouraging
effort for all the attending students.
Until now we have been having inviting students only from Delhi and NCR territory for the classes. However this time we have made an attempt to ensure a national level participation for the next session of classes. A sincere effort is being made to communicate this message to all the medical colleges and hospitals across India.
We have organised a comprehensive 3 day class session on all the important "Clinical" topics to be covered for the practical exams, in 3 sessions each. Because we have realised that it would be extremely difficult for out- of - station students to gather every Sunday for 8 consecutive weeks, as was the norm in all the previous sessions.
The classes would be provisionally from 22nd of February to 24th of February. (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Prominent Teachers from reputed medical colleges in Delhi and NCR, most of whom are or have beeen examiners, would be taking the classes.
The Exact sequence of topics, the Faculty and the Registration fees would be communicated to the students in due time.
Thank You |
